The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped in a quiet position with lots of marked walks. It was chilly in the evenings but once we got the hang of the log burner we were very cosy, plenty of logs provided.

What a lovely place to stay, so well done and lovely touches from the welcome gifts to the fact it had tea, coffee, cooking oil and condiments etc as well as all the utensils you need. My partner and I stayed at Red Apple Lodge over the Christmas period and it was the perfect place to unwind, relax and forget about all our worries at home. We cannot fault the cabin at all, warm once the woodburner was lit, plenty of hardwood included. Kitchen small but perfectly functionable, shower strong, water hot! Wifi fast, furniture and bedRead more comfortable. The whole cabin is nicely decorated and a few nice little touches like the welcoming hamper. Dog was very happy by the fire too! Hide

Cottage contained everything you need and hosts were welcoming and helpful. The wine and cider were a nice touch and very welcome. Only downside it is not too far away from the flight path for Bristol airport.
