Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and deceptively spacious, single-storey wooden cabin on a small private estate. It’s a quiet hideaway down a private farm lane, which is also a footpath to the nearby pub and cider farm, less than 1 mile away. You’ll also be located 2.5 miles from the small seaside town of Watchet with its marina, harbour, shops, cafes, pubs and weekly summer market. There are rock pooling and fossil hunting beaches on either side of the harbour, and pebble and sand beaches at Blue Anchor (4.5 miles) and Dunster (6 miles). Step back in time and aboard a steam train on the West Somerset Railway, that takes you through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Enjoy a visit to the coastal town of Minehead (8 miles), with its sandy beach, and the attractive village of Porlock (13 miles). Other places of interest include Tropiquaria Zoo (under 1 mile), Dunster Castle, and Doniford Farm (3 miles), and keen walkers will enjoy exploring Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills.

Step inside this beautiful property and you will immediately find yourself in the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is made for relaxing, with a Smart TV, a warming wood burner for those colder months, and comfortable sofas which overlook the garden. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes, which can be enjoyed around the dining table. There is also a useful utility room. There are three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. At one end of the property, there is a master king-size bedroom with an ornate hand-forged bed, and at the other end are two further bedrooms, a twin and a single. Completing the accommodation is a family bathroom.

Head out onto the decked veranda where you can sit out in the evening and relax under the stars, listening to owls and frogs. Step down into the enclosed garden and enjoy views over the surrounding fields, neighbouring stream and large wildlife ponds (please note they are not accessible from the property as there is a hedge and post and wire fencing between the two). There is a picnic table, so you can enjoy your morning coffee or some al fresco dining on the charcoal BBQ.
