Don't forget to take in the breath-taking views from the Tor, where you can see for miles on a clear day. For a spot of shopping, Clarks Village outlet centre has a diverse range of popular retail brands and is a mere 10 miles away.

Set within an exclusive courtyard development of only 2 other holiday homes, this characterful property sits beside the owner’s home, yet with privacy assured. Upon arrival, you'll head through your private garden to reach the entrance of this charming stone-built retreat. Inside, a light and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner greets you, and you’ll be in awe of the fabulous galleried space complete with original beams. A delightful choice year-round, close the shutters, ignite the wood burner and cosy up in front of the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen leads from this room and has all you need to prepare your favourite meals. Thoughtful details adorn the property wherever you look, creating a real home from home ambience. When night falls, head upstairs to the quirky gallery bedroom, where theatre style curtains provide privacy between the two bed spaces, a king-size area and a twin (which is available on request). This striking space is set into the eaves, with some areas of restricted head height, which only adds to its character and charm. On the ground floor lies a fabulous wet room style shower, with spacious walk-in cubicle complete with a rainfall shower head.

Quite simply THE best property we have stayed in. Comfortable, cosy,contemporary, gorgeous...and lovely, unintuitive owners....I can not recommend this highly enough.
