These converted semi-detached stables are conveniently situated off the A38 and set in a small courtyard attached to the owners' house. These cosy yet stylish properties retain some of the old beams, and are perfect for couples wanting to explore the area. Set on the edge of the owners smallholding with resident goats, horse and free range chickens. The perfect base to relax and enjoy yourself yet close to the wealth of attractions that Somerset has to offer including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village and the excellent sandy beaches of Burnham and Brean. Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels you will have a vast choice of walks and cycle routes.  Amenities: both properties have ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included (£25 winter surcharge payable to owner on arrival September - end of May). Wi-fi available. While a cot and highchair are not supplied at the properties, you are welcome to bring your own with you. 2 dogs welcome. Location: beach 2 miles, village shops and pubs within walking distance, supermarket and launderette in Highbridge 0.5 miles.  A single storey stable conversion offering light and airy accommodation and ONE bedroom: double. Shower room: with large shower cubicle and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: TV, DVD and dining table, kitchen area with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Outside: private enclosed patio area with seating, to enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Clean ,comfortable,ideal for dog,friendly owner.Very well located for majority of attractions e.g Cheddar,Wookey Hole,Weston,Burnham,Brean,Taunton and shopping outlet at Street.A couple of pub restaurants and supermarkets a mile in either direction.would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is ideally situated for getting around the area. Burnham on sea is very dog friendly and just a few minutes drive away. There are plenty of places to walk the dog nearby. The cottage itself is perfect. It had all that you would require and there was even milk coffee and tea for us on arrival. the owners were very welcoming and were on sRead moreite if we needed to ask them anything. Alstone Cottages are well located and easily found. The owner was on site to welcome us and acquaint us with the area. The accommodation was very clean and spacious with a nice private enclosed area - super addition when travelling with a dog. We would most definitely return to Alstone Cottages.

Really nice people , cottage was really nice and spacious, local friendly pubs allowed dogs , most places allowed dog where ever you went , not far from a drive on beach where your dogs can have some fun and you can all chill out for a while. Cheddar gorges down the road short drive dogs are allowed in all caves walls etc and shops with a little doRead moreggy bakery so you can get them a little treat all of their own. Hide
