A beautiful cottage, perfectly located in a beautiful village, within walking distance of the local pub, but also to some wonderful walks down quite country lanes or up rambling tracks with the dog. This was one of the best equipped kitchens we have stayed in and was great as we do self cater and a plus was to have a small separate freezer. CleanliRead moreness throughout has also to be noted and the totally enclosed wall garden is stunning and secure for any dog. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Hide

A lovely cottage, well equipped with really helpful owners next door. Super comfy beds and loads of character with sloping floors and thick oak doors. The area is really rural with good walks, National Trust properties and some good pubs around. Lovely accommodation in a lovely village, we had dinner at the Barrington Boar, a short walk within the village, on Christmas Eve but otherwise catered for ourselves. We could not find fault with our meal out, excellent! The kitchen is great for a social cook together and very well equipped, we were a bit nervous cooking Christmas Dinner in a stranRead morege kitchen, without our usual store cupboard essentials to hand, but we need not have worried.
