A lovely, quiet place to stay in beautiful countryside. An excellent local pub in walking distance. A good range of (dog) walks in the surrounding area. We would recommend Stable Barn.

The house was very comfortable and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. It is a good location and there is a good pub 10 minutes walk away in the next village.

The barn and location was beautiful and perfect. The owners were so nice and helpful and if you needed anything they were there. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Plenty to do whatever the weather. Every where we went to either eat or drink was so dog friendly and made you very welcome. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our week at Stable Barn. The super king-sized bed was so comfy and having a bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs worked well for us. Our 2 dogs were able to use the outside space closely supervised as garden not entirely secure. Oak barn next door has more of a garden of it's own, however some pooches would be able to escape. BotRead moreh rentals use parking in front of Stable Barn. Location is great for walks from the door and further afield,an OS map is helpfu Would stay again :) Hide

A comfortable stay. The bathroom is a particular treat to relax in after a day of exploring. WiFi had just been upgraded and worked well. We enjoyed the location of the property more than expected; there was a beautiful walk from the front door up to a view point, or you could hop in the car & go further afield, deeper into the mendips or explore BRead moreristol. We enjoyed our stay, though we would rate 4 stars rather than 5 when compared to other cottages weve stayed. Hide

We stayed in the Oak Barn. It was very clean, comfortable and interesting being split level. Stunning views and great dog walks without jumping in the car. The owners were very lovely - very friendly and full of information about the local area. Dinner at the Plume of Feathers, a short walk away in Rickford was delicious. Will definitely return.
