This well-appointed Norwegian lodge set in 3.5 acres of grounds on the edge of the Quantock Hills, just two miles from the coastal town of Watchet and a great base to explore Exmoor and the Quantocks.

Situated in the heart of Somerset and a short drive from the pretty seaside town of Watchet, explore the marina and excellent range of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Slightly further along the coast is Blue Anchor with its sandy beach and St Audries beach, within walking distance. The historic West Somerset steam railway is within walking distance and runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Explore the coastal town of Minehead and visit the pretty village of Porlock. Dunster with its National Trust castle towering above it is a must see and is just a short drive, as is Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills, perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe-inspiring landscape.

This delightful compact lodge is set in a tucked away position within the grounds of the owner’s home. Step into this single-storey open-plan retreat and settle in for a snug evening in the lounge with a bottle of wine and a film on the TV or DVD player and relax after a long day. The stylish kitchen is cleverly fitted with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, perfect for cooking a lazy breakfast in bed, or a light supper. From here enter the pretty double bedroom with TV. Sleep tight with your faces glowing from a day in the salty sea air, or a brisk countryside walk. The double bedroom also has an en-suite wet room with shower and WC and electric shaver point.

Venture outside onto the decking with your morning coffee and soak up the views over the gardens and the Quantock Hills. It is also a perfect place to enjoy a BBQ or cuddle up under a blanket whilst watching the sun go down. You are welcome to enjoy the attractive shared landscaped gardens where you can also enjoy views towards Exmoor National Park. 1 dog welcome in this lovely bijoux cabin. Allocated off-road parking for one car can be found at the back of the lodge, it is accessed via a level path with a slight gradual slope to the decking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cosy cottage perfect for 2 people. Views outstanding over garden, horses and the Quantocks Hills. V comfy bed and good wet room. Tony, the owner was very welcoming, and gave us great info on local walks.

We had a brilliant time at the Norwegian lodge. Greeted warmly by the owner who showed us round and explained how everything worked. Such a nice change from having to scrabble around to find the key code. The lodge was scrupulously clean, well equipped and in a glorious part of Somerset.

We spent 7 nights in Tonys cabin and it suited our needs perfectly Fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay Comfortable bed and furniture and the wet room was brilliant.Tony gave us plenty of advice on places to visit in the area .Definitely one to re visit

Lovely location to discover Somerset and in particular the Quantock Hills (which are lovely to walk in), a 5 minute drive away. Helpful host and gave good advice and knowledge of beauty spots.

Lovely lodge in beautiful surroundings The lovely little town of Williton is only a couple of mikes away where you can stick up on essentials The beaches of St Andries and Watchet are close by and it is easy to get to the rest of Somerset The owners were friendly and helpful we would love to go back soon

The lodge was home from home with a better view . Couldnt fault any of it . The location does require a car but it is in a great spot as a base to visit the area. No light pollution so the stars where amazing when the cloud moved on . We will return to further our exploring . A lovely, well presented, cosy lodge, perfect for two to relax in the beautiful garden and take in the views of the hills and nature. We we're warmly greeted by Mr Dunn who took us round the lodge and shared his knowledge of nearby places and on hand for a friendly chat but not imposing. We had a lovely stay, the property is cosy with all the essentials and a wonderful view. Warmly welcomed by the the host who gave plenty of ideas on what to do in the area. Fantastic and quiet location within reach of the Quantock hills and Exmoor and close to the coast. Highly recommended.

A lovely little cabin overlooking the Quantoxhead hills. Very well equipped and a lovely touch with the owner putting some milk, cake, chocolate and bread in the fridge for us. The weather was beautiful and we were able to make a lot of use of the wonderful outdoor space.
