As we were visiting with our son and daughter-in-law, with their 2 small children, this cottage was perfect. They had the 2 bedrooms upstairs, while we had the double and en-suite downstairs. We took games to play in the evenings, but the extra supplied were loved by the boys, as were the dvd's. The cottage sits in an area perfect for exploring theRead more whole of Somerset, and is close enough to Weymouth and Lyme Regis for days out in the sand!! I would definitely recommend it! Hide

Lovely cottage next to a busy main road so be aware road can be noisy. Also building work across the road with large vehicles coming and going which adds to the noise at the moment. Great accommodation ideal for dogs with a field nearby which is available to use.

What a lovely place to stay. Well equipped & very clean. We had the use of our own garden & was also able to use our hosts garden too which was great. Our dog loved the space to run around in. Would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely week in the cottage. Well equipped and plenty of space for us all. The garden was fully enclosed so safe for our westie who came with us. Location was good and weather was great apart from 2 days. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and her family.

We had a lovely stay at Tor View. Views are amazing. The local chip shop is really good! Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and owners are extremely helpful and friendly. There's a lovely paddock that the owners let us use that had a football goal and children's climbing frame/slide (more suited to younger children). The only downside waRead mores the main road can be quite noisy at night and whilst the town is walking distance you have to walk on a fast road for part of it. Hide

Lovely cottage which is very well located to explore Dorset and Somerset and very close to the beautiful town of Castle Cary. The cottage is very well equipped, beautifully clean and perfect for up to a family of 6. The owners were very efficient and easy to deal with. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tor View Cottage.

Beautiful home away from home cottage. Use of private/secure garden, with pagoda, table chairs, umbrella and of course BBQ which was spotless. Beautiful place to sit at the end of the day and watch the sunset.

Well equipped, clean accommodation - my Father has limited mobility so downstairs bathroom and bedroom were super and no steps to access the property, small door lip, otherwise ok, Dads limited mobility meant he could not use shower, but we knew that when booking - it was a perfect place for us and Audrey was helpful and welcoming with a nice welcoRead moreme pack. A great central place for us to explore the area. Hide
