Little Barn Draydon is a detached barn, which situated on the edge of the Exmoor national park. A superb position, surrounded by glorious countryside and far reaching views.

 Set in the beautiful Exmoor National Park, this cottage is the ideal base to explore Exmoor’s glorious moorland countryside, paddle in the clear meandering streams , and sunbathe on the wonderful sandy beaches of Devon and West Somerset. With views over the Barle valley, wild red deer grazing from the neighbouring woods and Exmoor ponies in the fields next door it is a wonderful tranquil place to relax. The coast to the North at Porlock and Minehead (with a steam railway) is within a 20min drive with wonderful long sandy beaches to be found further west at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. These beaches are particularly popular with families for swimming and surfing. This is an ideal spot for all the family to be based with plenty of places to walk and explore Exmoor as well as many children’s activity centres, zoos, wildlife centres, horse riding, golfing and fishing. Only 3 miles away is the vibrant little town of Dulverton which has pubs, restaurants, tearooms, a small supermarket, delicatessen, bakery, butchers, Doctors and pharmacy. A short drive can also be taken to discover the picturesque Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Blackdown Hills and the Quantock Hills.  The Cottage has Wifi and Freesat TV. Amenities: private parking space immediately outside the cottage. Bed linen, towels, electric, Wi-Fi and night storage heating included. The property is supplied with water from a spring,  2 dogs welcome. Location: beach 20 miles, shop and pub 3 miles. Arrival: 3pm. The detached barn, situated on one floor, offers ONE bedroom with king-size bed and views over the Barle Valley. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: the living area also has views out over the Barle Valley with feature wood panelling and woodburner effect electric fire, flatscreen Freesat TV, DVD and plenty of books. Kitchen area equipped with an electric oven, hob, combination microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and dishwasher. Washer/dryer located in hallway. Outside: unattached enclosed private garden beyond the parking area. There is also a small open patio area with garden table and chairs directly outside the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Wanted an escape the fireworks staycation for our dog - and Little Barn was perfect - not a firework was seen or heard! The location is beautiful with easy access to both the moors and the beach. We love this little cottage, we have returned year after year,everything we need to make an enjoyable holiday is here, the cottage is well equipped, and now has a dishwasher. After a long day walking, to come back to little barn,was like coming home,so warm and cosy . Cannot fault the cottage . A lovely place if you like peace and quiet. very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the birds on the bird table that was outside the lounge widow , especially the two woodpeckers

The Little Barn is well situated on the out skirts of Dulverton and has all the facilities you require for a very enjoyable stay. A great place to stay- clean, comfortable, with amazing views and facilities. Close to local amenities but remote at the same time. Stayed there several times and will be. Back for sure!

A beautiful, clean and cosy cottage in a lovely, quiet location, good for exploring all over exmoor. It's a good sized property with all the amenities you need. Large enclosed grassy area was great for the dog. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would return again.

Very clean and well maintained. The cottage is in a isolated position with no nearby public footpaths. Walking is on the small narrow roads and care needs to be taken.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Set in a great spot, we had a nice walk down the lane to the Tarr Steps. Lovely quiet location down single track roads , cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break (except the worn and uncomfortable bed). Well equipped and nicely decorated. We saw deer in the field opposite, and woodpecker on the bird feeder. From the barn you can turn right and head up the lane (watch out for the cars) at the end of the lane take the footpaths to Tarr Steps for a good walk and lunch or carry on to Withypool about 3miles from the pub. Woods for dinner (Dulverton)
