The central location of this property makes it perfect for visiting both coastlines including pretty Watchet and Blue Anchor Bay to the North and to the popular seaside towns of Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to the South. Taunton is within a few miles and offers an extensive shopping mix, restaurants and leisure facilities, the historic towns of Glastonbury and Wells are both within a 30 minute drive and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter is under an hour away by car. Other attractions within easy reach include Exmoor National Park, Clarks Village, The Quantock Hills, West Somerset Steam Railway and a selection of National Trust properties and gardens.

Enter this delightfully furnished property to find a charming lounge/diner with a TV/DVD with iPod dock, stereo and even an antique record player. There are a few vinyl records provided but feel free to bring your own too. A woodburner effect electric fire keeps you warm on cooler evenings and a beautiful view stretches out across the owners’ garden and towards the fields beyond. In the kitchen you will find an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The pretty double bedroom is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable night sleep and there is a bathroom with a roll-top bath with electric shower over it and WC.

Outside of the property guests can benefit from a lovely enclosed cottage garden, accessed via three steps. Here you will find a pretty summer house with seating and a patio area with garden furniture. The owner lives next door but privacy is assured and there is separate access to the public footpath that leads into the village of North Curry. There is private, off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A very comfortable cottage set in beautiful enclosed gardens which was ideal for our dog. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable break. Peter, the owner, was there to greet us on our arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. The welcome pack was extremely extensive and was much appreciated. Probably one of the best cottages weve stayed in. It was a gorgeous traditional English country cottage with rose garden. There was a romantic courtyard & enclosed front garden - our dog loved it. The cottage was nicely laid out with large rooms and a gorgeous view from the lounge window. Westfield cottage is the perfect place to get away from your everyday hustle and bustle. If youre looking for complete peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The owner has shown great attention to detail in making the cottage very comfortable, set within a fabulously quintessential English cottage garden.

Good base for days out. Need to travel to appreciate the area. We enjoyed . Hestercombe, Maunsel Lock , Great Wood and Bowleaze Cove especially. No attempt at non dog-friendly destinations.

The cottage was lovely and very well equipped - we wanted for nothing - and the helpful owner provided a really generous welcome pack. The garden was a delight which our dog really enjoyed. It was totally secure which gave us peace of mind. We thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing and quiet holiday.

If you like character and comfort this ones for you. Beautiful garden, perfect for dog owners plus numerous walks straight from the gates. Lovely village with pub, coffee shop, post office and shop just a few minutes walk away.

I was looking for quiet and relaxation and this beautiful cottage was perfect. My dog enjoyed the good sized garden and the tranquil and secluded location was perfect for unwinding. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a break.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. This is our second visit, the location is excellent for exploring the countryside and seaside. The local pub does very good food as does The Lemon Tree at the Willow heritage centre. The garden is beautiful, very secure for the dog with a lovely summer house. Weve booked again for next year.

Had a wonderful break felt comfortable and very clean we were able to relax. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could have needed, great for our dogs who had a garden and great walks straight from the bungalow.

The owners, Peter and Fay were very welcoming and helpful with any queries. The cottage is joined to their home but very private. The pretty cottage garden is not overlooked and very secure for our dog Archie who was also made very welcome. We stayed here last summer and returned for another excellent week at Westfield cottage. It was well equipped and our host, Peter, was very helpful. I recommend it to those wanting a quiet location with a village shop and good pub within about 20 minutes walk.

A truly magical find. Extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Warm, secure cottage, surrounded by lovely countryside and a lovely village. Everything you need is there. After all those months of lockdown it was just what we needed. Oh, and the bed is just so comfortable- always time for a second cup of tea in the morning!

A lovely quiet annex cottage entirely furnished in the Olde World fashion. Well stocked library, CDs & DVDs but no DVD player. A welcome drinks and some homegrown apples were provided and also a small supply of basic food stuff like milk, cooking oil, etc. which is very helpful if one is travelling from afar

It is a delightful and comfortable holiday cottage set in peaceful countryside about 15 minutes walk from North Curry. Very friendly on arrival. Lovely gesture of fresh eggs from their chickens and tomatoes and a cucumber from their garden. The kitchen had plenty of stock, which was great to arrive and not having to worry about tea and coffee etc. Will definitely recommend and would go back as the setting was so beautiful and tranquil.

We had a lovely time staying in North Curry. It was ideally located for day trips to places like Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral, Beer Beach, Lyme Regis and many other places of interest but also quiet enough to just sit out and chill in the garden and listen to the birds.
