Exmoor National Park being just a couple of miles away offering excellent walking, pony trekking and mountain biking. Golf courses can be found in Tiverton and Minehead and fantastic beaches can be found on the north coast. The Exmoor village of Dulverton is less than five miles away with shops, pubs and restaurants. Bampton itself has a range of amenities too and quite a history from the Romans to its early Saxon origins, the Norman castle, the wool and pony trade, the 12th century church and the quarrying of local stone and is now a thriving centre used by villagers and visitors.

Stepping outside, there is no garden as such but there is a courtyard area with allocated off-road parking for one car, there is additional roadside parking available and more in the nearby car park.
