Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels providing easy access to a vast choice of walks, cycle routes, riding stables, fishing and birdwatching sites to choose from. Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are within a short drive with their golden sandy beaches, seaside shops, family entertainments and restaurants. You will also be within easy driving distance of Wells, with its famous cathedral and shopping area and Cheddar, with its famous Gorge, independent shops and cafes. The first two weeks in November is carnival season with the renowned Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare Carnivals, they really are a must. Enjoy visiting the wealth of attractions this popular county has to offer where there is something to suit all ages and tastes.

Upon entering the beautiful accommodation, you are greeted with a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with large windows looking out to the garden. You can enjoy the views in the summer, or in the cooler months snuggle up in front of the wood burner on the comfy sofas and watch the seasons change while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen area has an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. The two bedrooms lead off from the hall, the first bedroom is a king-size with en-suite shower and WC and the second is a twin. There is also a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC which again leads off from the hall.

Venturing outside through the rear door there is an enclosed courtyard garden with a patio, with seating including stargazing seats, it makes a perfect spot to enjoy a BBQ or a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. There is also a useful secure shed which houses the washing machine and is perfect for storing bikes or muddy boots after a walk in the countryside. There is ample off-road parking at the front of the property.

We spent a fabulous Christmas at Swallows Watch - the accommodation is well appointed and the owners friendly without being obtrusive. The highlight was the covered hot tub and it was heavenly to read my book there whilst the wind howled around me. We werent bothered by the motorway noise but it was clear that other guests had been and I do think iRead moret should be mentioned as there really is no getting away from it when youre outside! Our stay at Swallows watch Barn was amazing. Cleaned to a very high standard and all the facilities are brilliant. Everything we needed was there. Beds super comfy. We had a lovely time at is Cottage the kitchen was well stopped for implements for cooking the cottage was stunning. We old loved the hot tub and the Beautiful fire place I definitely would recommend this place to anybody who is searching for a peaceful property to enjoy your family with.

I booked this cottage as a birthday present for my husbands 30 birthday and everything was amazing. The owners decorated the place and made sure everything was perfect. The cottage was very clean and perfect. My son loved the hot tub and he wanted to stay more . The owners were very polite and respectful. The place was beautiful, well equipped and very clean . My only criticism was that the owners were waiting on the drive at 9.45-9.50 ready to clean . I know we needed to be out by 10am but it made us feel uncomfortable and as no one was in immediately after us it seemed a bit rude

What a wonderful cottage. Really clean and well equipped. We loved the hot tub to relax in after a day exploring Somerset. Pubs and restaurants a little further away than we would have hoped though. But worth travelling too Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Stayed at Swallows Watch for a second time. It does not disappoint. It is home from home with everything provided to make your holiday perfect.. Ali & Graham are lovely friendly people, on hand if needed but not intrusive. Will certainly return.

Highly recommend this stunning barn as a base to explore Somerset. The hosts were really helpful, and the guest info/tourist leaflets were super useful. Well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean. The hot tub is glorious and private. We really enjoyed our stay (2 adults and 2 children under 10) and were really comfortable.

Wonderful property with wonderful host. Super clean & well maintained with everything thought about for a comfortable & relaxing stay - even a washing machine which is handy with little people. We all slept really well as the beds were comfy. The garden & hot tub are a wonderful feature and definitely made the holiday extra special. Absolutely lovely place to stay. The owners Ali and Graham were very welcoming, helpful and not at all intrusive. The hot tub was lush, as was relaxing on the comfy sofa watching films with the log burner on next to us. Always warm, ample hot water and plenty of bits to cook so easy stay. We got lucky and managed some star gazing which was fantastiRead morec. The only slight downside was location, most places we wanted to visit were 30-40 mins drive, but don't let that deter you from staying here. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Thoughtfully set up both in design and provision and with consideration to privacy. Ali and Graham are excellent hosts. The hot tub was great! Sadly we didn't get chance to use the Star Gazing Seats though!

We had a fantastic stay here! The Barn serves as a great base for visiting Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare, Brean, Bristol etc. The Barn had everything we needed from Wi-Fi to kitchen utensils and the owners were both very nice and very helpful. Cant recommend enough!

Fabulous holiday home in a great location. The barn was clean and very well equipped, we felt really at home as soon as we arrived. The location is excellent for exploring the local area. We loved the hot tub and the bbq in the garden.

My family and I had a fantastic stay here. The property was very clean and a lot of attention in the property detail. The jacuzzi and the star gazing area were very much thought of as part of the property design. An amazing property/holiday home with wonderful owners.

Such a lovely cottage! Everything you need. Garden was lovely for sitting out and reading. We used the hot tub every day and was a highlight of the week. This was the ideal place to relax and unwind either in or out of the hot tub. Great surroundings but also short drive to the beach or other attractions for the kids. All our needs met. Loved every minute of our time there.

The cottage was so relaxing and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and the garden was brilliant for the children. The cottage itself was clean, well equipped and comfortable.
