This beautiful detached single-storey barn is situated at the end of a private gated drive shared only with the owners neighbouring property within the heart of a traditional Somerset hamlet, offering easy access into both Bath and Bristol.

This traditional hamlet is just a few miles from Keynsham a market town with a rich history, surrounded by woodland and countryside. The great outdoors has much to offer from the River Avon Trail that takes in the idyllic scenes of the river, or the Community Forest Path expands 45 miles of countryside treasures. For history lovers the wonders of Roman and Georgian delights in Bath to perhaps the Clifton Suspension bridge which spans across the Avon Gorge. For the magic of steam travel climb aboard one of the locomotives and journey along the Avon Valley with special themed days and a chance of driving the locomotive yourself, what more could be asked for?

You are welcomed into the delightful single-storey accommodation through the front door where you will be greeted by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is bursting with beautiful features. Why not relax on the comfy sofa while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Approached via two steps is the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher, perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. Comfort has not been compromised especially when it comes to a good night’s sleep with the double bedroom accessed via an archway from the lounge/kitchen/diner. The bedroom is again beautifully finished and has a Smart TV should you wish to enjoy a lie in or two. The shower room can be accessed from the kitchen area and has a shower and WC.

Venturing outside from the back door you will find yourself on the private enclosed patio with seating. In the summer you can enjoy a lavish al fresco breakfast or some lazy summertime sunbathing. At the front of the property is designated off-road parking for two cars, a hose pipe for washing off muddy paws and a small shed for storing boots after a countryside walk.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely, modern, clean and comfortable barn conversion. A high priority for us was local dog walks - and there are plenty of these, set in beautiful countryside on well-signposted public footpaths. Great location for visits to Bath, Bristol, Wells and further afield.
