This was the cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in, and well maintained and well equipped. The owners were great. The welcome tray of goodies was lovely. Would certainly use this cottage again if the opportunity was there.

Lovely cottage in excellent condition in a rural location, good to use as a base to visit local attractions by car. The White Lion Inn down the road is worth a visit and the garage down the same road has everything you need to keep you feed and watered, both within walking distance.

A warm ambiance as soon as I walked in. The owners had decorated with a lovely real Christmas tree and decorations and a splendid hamper was left out for me. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped. All the little touches make a difference. Thanks.

I would recommend this. We want to come back. The owners are friendly, helpful and generous (welcome tray with tea, milk, biscuits, wine). It is perfect for 2 people. We stayed a week and found plenty to do without travelling too far.

This converted shop is really well appointed, clean and comfortable. We liked the welcome Dorset tea, milk, biscuits and chocolates - a really welcoming sight. For my wife and I this was a perfect place to spend a week in comfort and so close to many places of interest.

Fabulous cottage with a real luxurious feel. Kitchen well equipped, everything looked new, shower room immaculate. Super clean throughout. Indulgent welcome pack. Although Sept, we were able to sit out in the evening sunshine on the patio. Ideally situated for exploring in all directions.

Lovely cottage. Linda and Roger were very welcoming and left us tea, milk, biscuits, chocolate and wine for our arrival even though we were a very last minute booking - we had booked the cottage just the day before. All very clean, warm and comfortable. The patio at the back was a real sun trap. Plenty of footpaths and nice walks in all directions.Read more Highly recommended. Hide

The cottage is well appointed and equipped. The village isn't itself wonderful, but very convenient for getting around. The bedroom window opens onto the main road at street level and we were concerned about noise if the window was open, but there is very little traffic and this was never a problem.
