Lovely little cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside. Owners were very helpful and we had all the amenities we needed. Kids loved seeing the cows on the farm. A great location for family trips out.

Owners are very hospitable and willing to share their working farm. We booked two cottages as my son partner and young grandchildren came with us. They did not want to leave, the youngest cried when he said goodbye to the cows. Theres lots to do in the surrounding area but in particular for me an ex local it was fabulous to see the SS Great BritainRead more it being quite a major excitement as a child to see it rescued and renovated. Really good location for Bath, Bristol and Cheddar Gorge, all half an hour away or less. Lots of lovely country pubs in the area and a stunning view from the cottage.

This is a stunningly beautiful place, highly recommended. Very clean, well maintained, generally comfy -- only issue is that the mattress was super-soft, which isn't great for the back. Dishwasher didn't work properly, but I'm sure the owners will fix that. Overall if I could give more than five stars I would. Added bonus: UK's 2nd largest neolithiRead morec stone circle (after Avebury) is nearby. It's all magnificent. Hide

Couldnt believe we found this place at short notice in the summer holidays at this price. We needed to get a way from insurance works at the house and the kids (and dog) loved it on the farm for a couple of weeks! I would heartily recommend for a quiet getaway.

Juliana and Will are splendid hosts and take care of their visitors really well. They are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We were staying here while our own home was being refurbished and it was a comfortable, warm and clean place to return to from the mayhem!
