This beautiful barn conversion is situated in the heart of the owners working farm and is in the delightful village of Stanton Drew famous for its prehistoric stone circles. To the south are the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walks are in abundance and are literally accessible from your doorstep, a charming country pub is a short walk across the fields. Perfectly located to enjoy the area's must-see locations, from the historic spa city of Bath, the metropolitan city of Bristol, the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, and Wells, the smallest cathedral city in England as well as the local lakes of Blagdon and Chew Valley and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

Stepping inside this delightful accommodation you will be greeted by a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with feature window that frames the far-reaching countryside views. The well-equipped contemporary kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher, perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. You will conveniently find a washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared utility room. Dine in the open-plan dining area and enjoy the views. In the lounge area you can relax on the comfy seating whilst watching your favourite movie on the Smart TV. From here, there is a contemporary shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs, is a spacious master bedroom which boasts countryside views and has a king-size bed, TV and en-suite WC. 

Venturing outside and to the front of the property you will find yourself on a courtyard patio with garden furniture. It is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or a spot of al fresco dining on the charcoal BBQ, whilst soaking up the views. There is a parking area close to the property with ample off-road parking. There are farm activities by arrangement, guests are welcome to enjoy a full experience of the farm with a guided tour where you can even watch the cows being milked.

We had a wonderful time - lovely views of surrounding countryside from the cottage and so many walks to do in the village and surrounding areas. Had a day in Bath via the park and ride. Local village pub nice and friendly. Mr & Mrs Stevens are lovely hosts and on arriving there was a lovely jug of milk in the fridge courtesy of their cows. Beautifully presented barn conversion that is ideal for a couple. Modern kitchen and wet room. All the furniture was comfortable and looks new. Modern smart TVs to help you relax after a nice day out and about. The patio was perfect for watching the sunset. Lovely rural location with easy access to Bristol, Bath and Mendips. A lovely cottage in an extremely convenient location for days out in Bath, Bristol, north Somerset and beyond. There are so many places to drive to in less than 20 miles. The cottage has everything to make you comfortable and is very quiet - except for the sound of the general farm routines which are part of the charm. It is in a beautiful position, so close to Bath and Bristol and to the coast. It is light and airy with lovely view over fields. Spectacular sunsets viewed from armchairs. 2 t.v.s and a dishwasher added to our comfort. The owners live at the farm and were welcoming and helpful. We spent a very pleasant week at The Wagon House. Juliana & William made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed jugs of milk straight from their freesian herd.
