The lodge was perfect for my partner and myself. A great getaway. Peaceful and set in a lovely countryside location. It was spotless and comfortable. The owners were welcoming and friendly. We had to travel a bit to visit other places but it was what we wanted. A beautiful lodge in a peaceful village. Just the thing for a middle aged couple. No kidRead mores or grandkids. Perfect. Hide

An extremely roomy and well appointed cottage with some lovely touches. The owners were friendly and obviously very eco-aware so quite a few instructions on closing windows and conserving fuel! Lots of houseplants. Beautifully presented and set in the owners' grounds with pretty local villages, if a little remote.

The cottage was very light, airy and quiet, and the friendly hosts were on hand to greet us. You can walk to the local pub, The Wyndham Arms, which serves excellent food. There is also a local shop for all the basic needs. Lots to do in the area - so a great location. We were very lucky with the weather so an excellent week away.
