The village of Wedmore is three miles from the property and is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time browsing the boutiques and sampling the offerings of the local pubs, restaurants or the well regarded deli. Just outside the village, Wilkins Cider is a popular destination for visitors to try an authentic version of this local favourite and has featured on Jamie Oliver’s TV programme. Further afield, Cheddar Gorge is eight miles from the property offering scenic walks, thrilling rock climbing and fascinating cave tours. Wells (the smallest city in England) is ten miles and a visit to the Cathedral is a must. Glastonbury is also within ten miles and a walk up to the top of the Tor is well worth the climb as the views are amazing. The property can be accessed from the ground floor or via a set of external stairs which opens up to the living accommodation on the first floor. The spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space in which to relax and enjoy spending time together with its comfortable sofas, beamed ceiling, warming wood burner, smart TV/DVD, bluetooth speaker and multi media CD player. The dining table in the centre of the room comfortably seats six beyond which is the kitchen . This is well equipped with a range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. On the ground floor of the property there are two stylish and well-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The first of these is a spacious king-sized room with vaulted beamed ceiling and benefits from having a wall mounted TV as well as an en-suite wet room with shower and WC.
