Can you believe that we're into the last weeks of 2018? Christmas will soon come and go and then you'll be scrambling around for plans for New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve in Bristol
Head to Bristol and you'll have a host of options on how to see the new year in. The city centre will be a hive of activity with all the pubs and clubs sure to be full of revellers creating a lively atmosphere. From this vibrant city, you'll be able to see a wide assortment of firework displays from all over the local area, one of the most lively spots in the county to see in the New Year.
Add some glitz and glamour to your last day of 2018 with an exclusive party being thrown on Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier. On arrival at the New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball you'll be treated to a lavish drinks reception before indulging in a delicious five-course banquet. Once you have finished your last mouthful the band will play the biggest hits from the Sixties through to the modern day, promising a range of tunes to get you off your seat for a boogie on the dancefloor. Once the clock strikes midnight be prepared to be showered with confetti from above, adding some glitz to this New Year's Eve party.
This event is one for the family with the popular West Somerset Railway running on New Year's Eve. Treat the kids to a day chugging through the beautiful Somerset countryside with spectacular views all around you, particularly of the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. Hop on the train in Minehead and enjoy the ride all the way to Bishops Lydeard with plenty of places to see along the way.
