Nestled along Somerset’s coastline, the popular holiday spot of Burnham-On-Sea offers the perfect traditional seaside getaway. Visitors return year after year for a dose of fun and excitement on a South West staycation and enjoy a plentiful selection of things to do in and around the town. With affordable accommodation and glorious sandy shores, Burnham-On-Sea is one of Somerset’s most popular destinations.

With eight beaches all within a 30-minute drive of Burnham, there are certainly enough chances to enjoy your water sports and other beach-side fun. The most popular of these is the award-winning Burnham beach, but if you prefer to get away from the crowds then head to Brean Down or Berrow. The pier at Burnham claims to be the shortest in the country, but still ranks amongst the best according to many visitors. Near here you’ll find many top restaurants and pubs.

At Brean Leisure Park you can enjoy a whole host of activities. Fun City is the South West’s largest free entry family theme park, with thrill rides, kids rides and Sooty and Sweep shows. There’s a golf club there too, so visitors can treat themselves to 18 holes of golf, as well as Brean Splash, an indoor and outdoor pool packed with fun slides and flumes.
