Traditional destinations such as Frome, Taunton and Yeovil offer up a taste of both country and town life, while north of the county is home to the inimitable caves of Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole.

If you’re visiting to take in the region’s fascinating history, visit Dunster Castle, Glastonbury Tor and Glastonbury Abbey.
