We had a lovely stay at the lodge over Christmas visiting family. It was particularly dog friendly with an enclosed garden outside the lodge and immediately adjacent an enclosed paddock for our pooch Barney to exercise in we he loved. The lodge had everything you needed and more provided to make the stay enjoyable. The owners Brian and Sue were Read morevery friendly and on hand if needed. They had decorated the lodge with a Christmas tree and lights which was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay there again. Hide

Lovely Lodge, well equipped, very clean, fantastic location. Owners very friendly, prosecco and milk on arrival and then left a bag of chocolates for Halloween on our porch!!! We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful stay, had everything we needed and was a nice relaxing break. Dog loved it and loved running around the secure field. Would definitely stay again and will look to book for next year.

We had a really enjoyable week at the clean, well equipped, comfortable lodge. Walked into Somerton on two occasions. Good selection of shops and cafes. Town Hall houses a beautiful and interesting craft centre. Glastonbury, Wells and Street in easy distance.

Wild Meadow Lodge is perfect = so clean, very comfortable and really well-equipped. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts and there was prosecco and milk on arrival - a lovely touch. Wild Meadow is a perfect base for exploring Somerset and some of Devon and Dorset too! We didn't take a dog and couldn't tell dogs have ever stayed there, it Read morewas so clean. We had a great stay. Lodge was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Its probably the best dog friendly accommodation we've ever stayed in. Great enclosed shingled garden immediately outside the lodge, with picnic table, covered veranda and gates through to a huge grassed field fully enclosed for the dog to run around in. Plenty ifRead more parking space. Great location v peaceful but only a mile or so to somerton which has plenty of pubs (dog friendly) cafes, takeaways and grocery shops. Easy to get to north or south coasts for a day out. Owners v friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if visiting this area. Hide

The lodge was fantastic in all respects, well furnished and not lacking for any equipment. We were also greeted by a bottle of fizz which was a lovely touch. The place was a credit to the owners who were on had if we needed anything and excellent hosts.

This accommodation is perfect in so many ways for those who love a real get away from noise and crowdedness. Quiet , beautifully accommodated, friendly considerate hosts, loads of dog friendly secure garden (with subtle fencing so they cant escape) and field just across from the cozy log cabin, close to many places of interest but far enough away Read morefor a good country get away filled with the sounds and sights of nature.
