An enticing Somerset holiday home, this delightful retreat in Minehead has been beautifully upgraded. Sleeping six guests and welcoming dogs, the three-bedroom cottage is close to the seafront in the vibrant coastal town. The famous South West Coast Path, which starts in Minehead and runs 630 miles along the coastline of England’s southwest peninsula to Poole, begins in the town and is just 100 metres from your door. Potter in the shops, dine out in Minehead’s choice of eateries and take the youngsters to Splash Waterworld, less than 1 mile away. Venture 0.5 miles to find yourselves in the magnificent Exmoor National Park, with its fabulous footpaths and roaming ponies that you may spot on the moorlands. Climb to the top of Dunkery Beacon, 7.5 miles away, to take in the panoramic views. Treat yourselves to an afternoon out at the National Trust’s Dunster Castle and Watermill, 3 miles away.

Make your way inside via the side door or the front door and hall, where you can slip off your beach shoes or walking boots on the flagstone floor and hang your bags and jackets on the hooks. Make yourselves at home in the stylishly finished lounge/diner, which can be divided to make two separate spaces by closing the bifold doors between the two areas. Switch on the chic wood burner effect electric fire (feature only, not used for heating) to bring a cosy glow to either area. Settle on the handsome furniture in the lounge to watch the Smart TV or gather for a game at the table in the dining room. From the lounge, amble through to the immaculate kitchen, with its tasteful deep blue cabinets and light work surfaces. Whip up tasty meals in here with the fresh Somerset produce you have bought in town, then serve up back through in the dining room. There is also a handy utility area and a downstairs shower room where you can rinse off the sand and salt under the rainfall head. All three of your bedrooms and a second family shower room can be found at the top of the gorgeous, honey-coloured wooden staircase. These bedrooms have been finished with an understated, calming colour palette. From the bunk bedroom, you will be able to see the sea. All the bedrooms have Smart TVs. Carefully climb the steep, narrow staircase to the attic snug. Here the younger members of your party can relax, play games and watch their own Smart TV.

Spill out into the enclosed courtyard garden to chat over a cup of tea in the fresh air and take in the sea views. There is an outside tap for sandy paws. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.

Lovely stay, location excellent. House was like home from home, beautifully equipped and clean, couldn't ask for more, unfortunately we had to suddenly cut short our holiday due to one of our dogs taken seriously ill. We hope to visit again and will certainly stay in the same cottage, it was everything we could ask for. Thank you

It was a lovely cottage, looked newly renovated. Situated in an excellent area close to the sea. Weather was not brilliant but we were able to walk our dogs up and down the front. Good spot for easy access to Dunster, Porlock and other Exmoor sights. Dog friendly cottage and area. Good food in local pubs.

Stayed between Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026. Beautiful and peaceful cottage very well equipped and very clean. A stone's throw from the beach which was fantastic for the dogs. Lovely views from the cottage of the sea and beach. Sat in the garden wrapped up on a cold sunny morning with a cup of tea looking across at the sea was wonderful.
