Head 3 miles to the fascinating town of Glastonbury, where you can climb the iconic Glastonbury Tor for sweeping views across the Somerset Levels or wander the atmospheric ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. Nearby Wells (8 miles) makes for a delightful day out, with its magnificent cathedral, medieval streets and the tranquil moated Bishop’s Palace. Families will love a visit to Wookey Hole Caves (9.5 miles), where dramatic underground caverns, legends and attractions promise a fun and memorable experience for all ages. The historic city of Bath (24 miles) boasts Georgian architecture, the famous Roman Baths, boutique shopping and excellent restaurants.

Step inside to the kitchen/diner, where a striking double-fronted wood burner takes centre stage, warming both the dining area and the adjoining lounge. Original character shines throughout, from exposed stone walls and a charming window seat to thoughtfully displayed vintage farming implements that nod to the building’s rural heritage. From here, move through to the cosy lounge with comfortable sofa seating and a Smart TV, before continuing into the fun-filled games room. Complete with a football table, TV and a snug cuddle chair, this room opens through French doors onto the enclosed garden, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Upstairs, two inviting bedrooms await. The first is a king-size room with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom is arranged with three single beds, making it well-suited to families or friends. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath rounds off the accommodation.
