A lovely property, spacious and comfortable, and beautifully presented, within easy reach of Yeovil and not too far from Dorchester, with parking for at least 3 cars and a good-sized dog-friendly garden.

The Old Orchard is a large characterful property surrounded by a good sized private garden. The room are all a good size, except for the Snug of course. The Living room has a light an airy aspect due to windows on two sides plus large patio door on south facing wall. This was our first Autumn visit, we found it to be very cosy in the cooler eveningRead mores and we really appreciated the bathroom radiators coming on early. Bird lovers need to visit, we've never heard so many bird calls anywhere else! Hide

It is a very lovely house, well furnished, well provisioned for arrival ( no need to rush out shopping.). Plenty of games etc to amuse oneself if not going out anywhere. The information pack was very informative. lots of leaflets and guides of local attractions.

We had a great holiday at this property. Two grandchildren loved it, especially the table tennis in the garage! We had a major issue with mosquitos, my youngest daughter being bitten to bits, but that couldn't be helped given the location, surrounded by trees and fields I guess. My husband and I found the double bed in the main bedroom a bit uncomfRead moreortable and small, but given that we have a king size bed at home this wasn't surprising! Lovely property all round. Thank you! Hide

It was a very nice cottage, very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay there, I had my cousin and his wife visited the UK for the first so we wanted to take them for a little break, they absolutely had such a wonderful stay, we loved the area and lots of things to do.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Old Orchard. It is spacious, relaxing and comfortable and whilst not luxurious, has everything you need. Some background road noise from the A37 but it didnt bother us. There are lovely walks from the door and we also went further afield near Cerne Abbas, Dorchester and along the Dorset coast path. We were visiting Read morefamily in Sherborne and the location suited us really well. Well served for dining options nearby, including the pub just across the road to walk to. Hide

A comfortable and well equipped house, with a lovely garden and good dog walks nearby. The lounge is especially comfortable and full of light and sun. The kitchen and dining room were both great, There was very little we would change and that was mainly personal preferences regarding the beds softness/firmness. The property provided us with excellent accommodation and was very clean and well appointed. It was easy to find. We were particularly pleased to find the buckets and spades which my grandchildren made good use of.
