Sleeping four, this single-level bungalow is ideal for a small family or group of friends that love the great outdoors and exotic animals in particular. Situated at the edge of a family-run petting zoo, the location offers some unusual benefits as it home to pygmy goats, alpacas, llamas, wallabies, donkeys and Shetland ponies. The Park View Restaurant and Bar is on site and the property is also close to the quaint village of Chew Magna with its local pubs and restaurants which are within walking distance. Close by, you will also find Chew Valley Lake and Mendip Hills, both offering an array of outdoor pursuits and activities for the whole family to enjoy. The city of Bath is only a short drive away; it offers many museums and historical visitor attractions making it great destination for a day out.

Tastefully decorated throughout this bungalow accommodation, the open-plan living area is comprised of lounge, diner and kitchen. With ample comfortable seating, you can enjoy films on the TV whilst staying toasty on colder nights. The kitchen area comes complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge and a microwave. There is a sizeable dining table with seating for four guests, with an available high chair. Close by are the two bedrooms – one room with a king size bed and the other contains twin beds. Both of the rooms have an en-suite shower room and WC for convenience.

Step outside and enjoy views from the patio area with outdoor furniture. Within the shared larger enclosed garden there is a fun outside play area for small children. Don’t forget to visit all the wonderful animals on-site which are a big hit with outgoing kids. There’s bound to be at least one creature in the menagerie that you’ve never encountered before.

This is a fantastic place to stay, the children loved the access to the animal park and had a great time. Restaurant on site was great too, a super week and all the staff we met were lovely.

Lovely place to stay. Clean & very well kept, though there is nothing like soap or dishwashing liquid there so you need to take your own. We had free access to the animal park which was great did we wandered around several times. Quiet at night tho. The staff are all excellent; very friendly & helpful. Lovely location on an Animal Farm, which we were able to walk round at anytime. We were there with another couple, visiting National Trust properties in the area. The bungalow was ideal as both bedrooms had a on suite bathroom. The owners were very friendly & on site if we needed them. Wed left towels outside & while we were out it rained, Gary repRead morelaced them without us asking. Would highly recommend for both couples and families. Cottage is set in a ideal situation on the premises of Chew Valley Animal Park, we was told we had 24/7 access and we did, how nice it was to walk around the park and see the animals after everyone had left, the animals appeared to watch us, as if to say you shouldn be here lol, We were a family of 3 so was ideal, two bedrooms, both was en-suite, bRead moreigger room had a double bed, smaller room had two singles, beds were comfy, showers clean, one piece of advice bring a airfryer for easier cooking Hide

What a place to stay! The property is clean, modern and comfortable. Wake in the mornings, open the door and theres camels at the end of the garden, how good is that????
