This is now my third stay in this beautiful cottage, beautifully furnished with all the amenities needed and exceptionally clean. Love the newly added dressing gowns, nice touch. Has the bonus of a private outdoor garden and parking on your doorstep. It's my go to haven. Walks around the village and Montacute House are a must, as are the two pubs.

A lovely, cosy, comfortable, tastefully renovated cottage and in a perfect location. The village is beautiful with two pubs both serving good food, a garage for basic supplies (especially logs), a co-op shop about a 20 minute walk away and plenty of lovely walking routes around the village.

Great little cottage, oozing character and in a perfect location. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard with luxury fixtures and fittings. The towels and bed linen were top notch. The patio garden was very private offering sun and shade throughout the day. Would recommend a stay at Acorn Cottage.
