Very comfortable cottage in an extremely quiet location and, as others have said, in a perfect place to explore this part of Somerset. The position of the cottage is great - easy 2 minute walk to the pub (very good food) and a 15 minute walk down to the beach - which is stony, not a sandy beach (good for fossil-hunters though); pleasant walks from the numerous footpaths around. The cottage is quite cold due to the stone walls, although it does have central heating. The wifi is nRead moreot great so ideal if you want to be tech-free. A comfortable enough stay for a couple, can't really comment on how it would be with kids. Hide

The Granary is a spacious & well-equipped cottage in an excellent location for exploring the pretty villages along the Somerset coast. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Hood Arms & would recommend. There are several walks from the cottage, with superb views - just watch out for the mud! The local stores in Kilve is no longer operating, but there are Read moreshops in the next village. Hide
