My family loved staying at Wassail! It had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our holiday. It was also the perfect walking distance to downtown Glastonbury, but tucked away on a quiet street where we could enjoy the solace of the back garden. Jacq was very prompt, friendly, and clear with communication. We would gladly return!

A gorgeous cosy cottage with lots of character. Its in an ideal location for peace and quiet yet only a ten minute walk into the centre of Glastonbury. Really enjoyed the Abbey, The Tor and Chalice Well and the lovely quirky shops. Its great for visiting nearby Street and Wells. (Bus from the Town Hall takes only about 10 minutes to get to Street.)Read more. We recommend the Whod a Thought It pub and The Lazy Gecko cafe for delicious meals. Jacq the host replied very promptly when asked a question. Hide

A fantastic barn conversion, tastefully decorated and furnished with everything you could need for a holiday. A great location too, only a 5-10 min walk into the town where there are plenty of shops to explore, as well as pubs and cafes. We had a lovely break, just a short walk into town, the cottage was ideal for us and the dog. Although the dog didnt like the pebbles there is a nice little walk just up the lane for a dog to do their important business if like ours would do nothing in the garden. Cottage was well equipped for a couple and bedrooms and bathroom were tasteful decoraRead moreted and spotlessly clean. Floor in the sitting room was uneven BUT that is the nature of the property . Glastonbury its self was interesting . Hide

A lovely week spent at Wassail. The cottage was clean and cosy with comfy beds and a cute garden. The secure off street parking was a bonus. Our dog loved staying there too. It was only a short walk into town. We had a great week and will hopefully return soon.

Had a lovely relaxing time in this thoughtfully restored home. I was concerned about road noise but the birds sang louder than the traffic rumbled. The occasional sound of geese was an unexpected bonus. Great location: 15 minute, easy flat walk into the heart of Glastonbury. Well equipped kitchen: full set of saucepans, two roasting trays, one fryiRead moreng pan. Gas hob and oven. Decent fridge and freezer. Pebbled courtyard-style rear garden and off road parking for a Ford Focus size car. Beautiful. Hide
