Alex was a brillant owner and the space the property affords was brilliant, especially as the weather was not that special. You really need a car as there is plenty to do and see within a 25 mile radius.

You will not be disappointed by staying at Sunset Barn. A beautiful place set in the countryside. So relaxing and the bungalow was to a very high standard. We will most definitely be back next year. Alex was very attentive and was on call all the time. We felt very safe and comfortable as we were 8 ladies on our own.

Lovely house and great for our annual girls trip away. Beautiful views and local walks. The weather wasn't great but it didn't spoil our time there as very comfortable seating, and lots of space to spread out and do jigsaws etc when too wet to go out. Dulverton is a lovely little town.

Supurb. In a beautiful area on the edge of Exmoor. On arrival there was plenty of parking for larger groups of people travelling independently. The outside area was sufficient area for well behaved dogs. Easy acces from the parking area for those that are less mobile. On entering the property you enter the hallway to which leads to three large ensRead moreuite groung floor bedrooms and an utility room. You then enter the living space which is huge, full height ceiling, four large sofas, dining table and well appointed kitchen with views to the west along the valley. Plenty of space for 10 people and dog(s). From this room you take the stair way to the two further en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. These bedroom were both well appointed but were dormer type rooms and had a lower ceiling height but ideal for less tall people. Outside on the decking ther were padded garden seating and of course the hot tub, which was used far more than expected. Being a dark sky area star gazing sat in the hot tub during the evening proved to be very popular. Alex the owner dropped by to make sure everything was as expected and said to contact him is there were any issues. We rarely go to a holiday venue more than once but this may well be the exception! Sunset Barn for a group of friends was perfect. We went in October and although stormy outside, we were cosy inside, watching the weather through the large patio doors/windows looking out over fields. It is in the middle of nowhere, that is part of its quiet charm and Dulverton is less that 10 minutes away by car. We really liked the hot tub, towelRead mores and plastic glasses provided. Very spacious, 4 sofas, ample for us all to sit and chat. Bedrooms all a good size. Hide

As a party of eight, we had a wonderful time and Alex could not have been more helpful. The barn is located in a beautiful area and the outdoor space was excellent. We took advantage of eating outside most nights and even played boules on the front lawn. I would certainly recommend for a family or friends get together.
