The cottage is smart, very well-equipped, plenty big enough for a small family and sited on a farm. There is a very good pub and a cafe/shop within a mile and an antiques emporium next door to that. All have parking. Axminster, a couple of miles away, is a small but pretty little town with virtually everything you need and a Thursday market.

Lovely accommodation very clean. Really appreciated the welcome pack and all the essential extras. My dog Lillie loved the garden and the field where she could run off lead. The beaches and the fossil hunting were a big hit with my son and grandson. Definitely recommend to friends and will come again.

Stunning location and setting. Plenty of open countryside and wildlife for long walks with the dog. The property itself was very comfortable with a big wall mounted TV and comfy sofa. Kitchen was well catered for and enclosed garden was a beautiful sun trap. A farmshop and pub/restaurant just 10 minutes walk. Would highly recommend

A lovely well equipped accommodation in a very quiet location, but close enough short drive to Chard or Axminster for shopping and beaches. The dog field is amazing and our lab had the best time in there, all 5 acres! Good parking, we took 2 cars as our daughter had to work on the Monday. What a lovely holiday home . We had a welcome pack when we arrived which was a lovely surprise . Even the dog had treats . Everything was clean , comfortable and welcoming . The only thing I would say is the double bed is too low so we slept in the single beds which were very comfortable . Would we go again? Most definitely .
