Scrumpy Cottage was in a lovely location only a 10/15 minutes walk to Ilminster town centre. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and the owners live in the same row of cottages. Great for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Somerset.

Set just outside Ilminster, Scrumpy cottage is a little gem. The charm of the cottage has been bought back to life having been beautifully restored by the owners. Good location for visiting both Somerset and surrounding counties.

We had a perfect week enjoying the beautiful renovated cottage. Everything was fine, nothing was missing. We had 3 walks in Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare and Montacute. The rest we spent in visting National Trust properties nearby. The owners are very friendly and very good hosts.

The most wonderful countryside cottage, in a prime location. Beautiful and cosy, with so much character, it exceeded all of our expectations and was a home away from home. It had everything we needed. Clare and Ed were very helpful with anything we needed, and had plenty of top tips for the local area. Many thanks!
