We were really impressed with 12 River St. It is beautifully furnished and equipped. It very much has the feel of the owners home which is much cared for. Every detail down to the excellent cooking utensils and knives ( which often are a bit shoddy in holiday lets!) has clearly been taken care over. It is a great sized space and all of the rooms weRead morere really comfortable. River St is in an ideal location making it easy to walk down to the town (5 mins) whilst being away from the busy area, and the Chequers opposite is both quiet and very good! We stayed during a heatwave and the fact it is a basement keeps it lovely and cool in the summer whilst the terrace garden out the back still allowed us to enjoy the sun. The holiday team were also really helpful, dealing very quickly with a moment when we accidentally locked ourselves out (!) and also arranging a mid-stay clean at fairly short notice.
