A gorgeous destination

Whether you visit for the food, the scenery, the attractions, or a bit of everything, there really is a little something for everyone at Cheddar.

An open-top tour bus is perfect to observe and find out more about the spectacular cliffs that reach up to 500 feet in places, with naturally dramatic landscapes to be admired all around. For views across the surrounding landscape though, it’s Lookout Tower where you’ll want to head to soak it all up.

Wookey Hole offers fun for all of the family and is one of the county’s best-loved attractions, whilst the village itself is famed for its range of shops selling local crafts and, of course, its delicious cheese which is still made in the same way today as it has been for centuries.
