Head to the coast and visit Watchet with it’s pretty harbour, or the coastal town of Minehead, further along the coast are the attractive villages of Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton. Golf Courses are found in Minehead at Minehead and West Somerset Gold Club (9 miles), Taunton at Oake Manor ( 15 miles ) and at Enmore Park (14.8 miles ). For the water-sport enthusiasts, Wimbleball Lake is 14 miles southeast and offers dinghy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and glorious walks around the 11 mile circumference for your dogs.
