On arrival at the New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball you'll be treated to a lavish drinks reception before indulging in a delicious five-course banquet. Once you have finished your last mouthful the band will play the biggest hits from the Sixties through to the modern day, promising a range of tunes to get you off your seat for a boogie on the dancefloor. Once the clock strikes midnight be prepared to be showered with confetti from above, adding some glitz to this New Year's Eve party.

This event is one for the family with the popular West Somerset Railway running on New Year's Eve. Treat the kids to a day chugging through the beautiful Somerset countryside with spectacular views all around you, particularly of the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. Hop on the train in Minehead and enjoy the ride all the way to Bishops Lydeard with plenty of places to see along the way.
