A seaside treat

In Minehead, explore the promenade and the harbour or alternatively head to the beach. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll up the parade to admire the colourful floral displays and discover the many cafes, restaurants and pubs in the town. The town centre has a number of shops, with a mix of high street chains and local retailers.

When in the town, why not head to Minehead Railway Station and jump on the West Somerset Railway? Here you can enjoy 20 miles of heritage railway through stunning Somerset countryside and coast, taking in 10 unique stops including Dunster and its imposing castle and Blue Anchor’s beautiful beachside location.

The town is also where you’ll find the starting point of the South West Coast Path, which runs all around the Somerset, Devon and Cornwall coast to Poole in Dorset.
