These converted semi-detached stables are conveniently situated off the A38 and set in a small courtyard attached to the owners' house. These cosy yet stylish properties retain some of the old beams, and are perfect for couples wanting to explore the area. Set on the edge of the owners smallholding with resident goats, horse and free range chickens. The perfect base to relax and enjoy yourself yet close to the wealth of attractions that Somerset has to offer including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village and the excellent sandy beaches of Burnham and Brean. Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels you will have a vast choice of walks and cycle routes.  Amenities: Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included (£30 winter surcharge payable to owner on arrival September - end of May).

Location: beach 2 miles, village shops and pubs within walking distance, supermarket and launderette in Highbridge 0.5 miles.  A single storey stable conversion offering light and airy accommodation and ONE bedroom: double. Shower room: with large shower cubicle and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: TV, DVD and dining table, kitchen area with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Outside: private enclosed patio area with seating, to enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ.

Highly recommended properties in a beautiful area of Somerset within easy reach of Burnham, Brean, Weston and the motorway. Rick and Sadie are amazing hosts and are always willing to help if you want local information such as where to walk your dog or go for something to eat. We've stayed here twice this year, lovely relaxing weeks with plenty of good dog walks and a comfortable holiday home presented by friendly hosts. We certainly hope to return again.

Our stay at Sadie and Rick's cottage was lovely, it was spotless and all we needed was included. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at home straight away. I'd highly recommend the cottage to everyone, you won't regret it!!

Yet another wonderful stay here for my dog, Harvey, and me. So comfortable and peaceful, with a lovely choice of beaches nearby. The owners, especially Sadie, are welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. We look forward to staying here again as soon as possible.

Really lovely cottage Great location , Outdoor area was nice and private ,perfect for dogs WiFi was a little slow. We had a lovely few days at this property in Somerset. It was ideally placed for our purpose & The Orchard pub was superb for our evening meals. Sadie, the host, was lovely & very attentive to our needs. Would recommend.

Areally warm and welcoming greeting by the owner such a friendly lady. The bungalow was very cosy and the heating was on when we got there which was very welcoming as it was cold. Lovely comfortable accommodation and friendly owner. Area great for dog walking, on the estuary to Burnham via the Apex park in Highfield (large, free when we stayed, car park at start) or on the massive beach at Brean Downs. Great food delivery from Mint Bay Indian in Highfield. Really relaxing week, we will hope to stay again.

Nice cottage. Convenient for touring N Somerset. Good local walks, connected to English coastal path, nice walk into Burnham mainly off-road. All the standard equipment included, comfy bed, dog friendly. Hosts very amenable.

A beautiful place to stay, handy for 3 local beaches. Sadie was extremely welcoming and helpful. Such a peaceful and comfortable stay that my dog, Harvey, and I hope to visit again very soon.

Lovely cosy cottage. Perfect in every way and lovely location. It was great to be able to head to the beach every day and then head back to find everything needed to make for a very relaxing and restful stay. Perfect also for the dogs.

Had a lovely week in this lovely cottage very clean and perfect for our two spaniels with an enclosed patio for our sole use. The owners were very n ice and were there if we needed them . would certainly recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights with millie (our frenchie). Absolutely fantastic, only a short drive to the places we wanted to visit and we found the four nights really wasn't enough. So we are planning on returning really soon. The enclosed garden leading to a secured communial lawned area was a great additional and piece of mind that my Frenchie lovRead moreed.
