For other amenities, the town of Shepton Mallet is only 4 miles away. There are many other attractions for which the area is famous within a short drive, including Georgian Bath which is steeped in history and well worth a visit for its attractions including the Roman Baths. Also nearby are Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bristol and the Chew Valley Lakes. The coastline of North Somerset is easily accessible and offers a range of beaches.

Step into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a feature full-length window that floods natural light into the open-plan space. The property is full of character with exposed beams and a herringbone wooden floor; relax in the period lounge chairs and unwind whilst enjoying the views across the adjacent fields, a perfect escape for families and couples alike. The cottage benefits from air source heat pump air conditioning, ensuring the perfect temperature in both winter and summer. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine; it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There are two bedrooms to choose from: a double located on the ground floor, or a galleried twin bedroom built into the eaves of the property accessed by the stunning bespoke spiral staircase. Completing the accommodation is a family shower room with a shower and WC located on the ground floor.

Outside, there is a private patio overlooking surrounding fields, great for enjoying your morning coffee or to watch the sun go down with your favourite tipple. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, with shared lawns and a beautiful shared ‘gingerbread’-type BBQ hut situated in the gardens, which is available for daytime or evening BBQs whatever the weather and time of year. A very comfortable cottage which is located in a central location ideal for visiting local attractions in the area. A lovely village pub, "The Horse and Jockey" is a 10 minute walk away down the lane and there is also a well stocked small village shop and post office in the village itself.
