Head to the coast and visit Watchet with it’s pretty harbour, or the coastal town of Minehead, further along the coast are the attractive villages of Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton. If golf is your thing, you will find Oake manor Gold Course 15 miles away in Taunton or try Enmore Park at the foot of the Quantock Hills, another 15 miles by car. For the water-sport enthusiasts, Wimbleball Lake is 14 miles southeast and offers dinghy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and glorious walks around the 11 mile circumference for your dogs.
