You can walk Tarr Steps in the heart of Exmoor and enjoy the sights of the beautiful wooded valley of the River Barle. There are also opportunities for horse riding and fishing nearby. A short drive away is the glorious North Devon coast, with its picturesque views, sandy beaches, charming seaside towns including Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton, the Valley of the Rocks, and the breath-taking coastal walk from Heddons Mouth to Woody Bay.
Enter into the property and find yourself in the hallway, perfect for hanging coats and storing shoes. Heading into the cosy lounge area, which has comfortable seating surrounding the TV and wood burner. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a romantic meal for two with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Make your way up the original steep staircase to find the two bedrooms, the master king-size bedroom and dressing area along with stunning views out over the countryside and a cosy single room. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC. Please note the staircase to the bedrooms is very steep and narrow and would not be suitable for children or elderly.
Venture outside to the fully enclosed garden area which offers garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, the perfect space for al fresco dining. For guests booking both properties and requiring access to each cottage, the secure gate between the adjoining properties can be unlocked, allowing access for both properties.
There is also a washing machine and dryer in the former tack room for use by both cottages. There is ample off-road parking.
