It's a perfect location for exploring three counties - Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. Sightseers have plenty of choice with numerous National Trust properties within a short drive, including Stourhead House and Gardens. Then move into the spacious kitchen/diner with everything you need to cook up a storm, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with icebox, dishwasher and washing machine. Then back to the hall and into the lounge which has two sets of French doors: one opening into the yard and the others into an enclosed garden with beautiful far-reaching countryside views. Sit back and relax next to the inglenook fireplace with wood burner and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. There is also a bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower and WC. Heading upstairs, you will find the super-king-size bedroom with apex ceiling, exposed beams and Smart TV, and there is also an en-suite WC.

Head outside into the enclosed garden which has a patio and seating for you to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining or summertime sunbathing. There is also storage for bikes, dog washing facilities and ample off-road parking.

Cottage is finished to a high standard, is very comfortable and has everything you would need both for humans and dogs. If you have dogs surrounding farmland is ideal for walking but do take wellington boots. The owners are most helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would like to visit again perhaps in the Spring.
