The cottage is situated within the Exmoor National Park, a beautiful, rugged moorland offering many miles of scenic walks and cycle paths. You will be surrounded by acres of stunning countryside yet just 2.5 miles from the popular village of Parracombe with its charming pub. Beach lovers will relish the sand at Combe Martin and Woolacombe which are both within easy reach. Visit the pretty sister towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, often referred to as Little Switzerland with their famous cliff railway, shops and eateries. Other places of interest in the area include Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife Park, and the market towns of Barnstaple and South Molton which offer an array of amenities.
Tucked away up a private lane lies this cosy detached cottage, which is situated on a 10,000-acre working farm and is bursting with charm and character. Entering this delightful property, you are immediately greeted by the light and airy hall. From here head into the small lounge which has a cosy wood burner - settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the TV/DVD. From the hall, step into the perfectly equipped kitchen/diner which has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. It is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There is also a washing machine conveniently tucked away under the stairs. Completing the downstairs accommodation is a family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. When the day draws to a close, head upstairs from the hall and retire to bed in one of the three bedrooms, a king-size and two single bedrooms.
