Nice size garden but not secure for small, dogs-overlooked by other cottages. TV had good selection of channels. Well equipped, no hairdryer and no dressing tables to sit at. Only stand for hanging clothes in main bedroom. On-suite shower quite small. Would not consider small rear Courtyard suitable for sitting out, full of wheelie/open rubbish binRead mores, large oil tank, shed & garden paraphernalia. No village shop, pub open for lunch closed until dinner & closed from Sunday lunch to Wednesday lunch Hide

A nice cottage spacious and ideally located for easy access to most places of interest. Friendly neighbours who advised on places to visit with my mum - we really enjoyed abbotsbury sub tropical gardens lovely drive there and the national trust properties, montecute, barrington court and tintinhull gardens (well worth a visit).

A lovely house in a great location. Despite the courtyard style the outdoor space did not feel overlooked. The house is spacious but cosy. Lots of lovely dog walks from the house which was a bonus.

Lovely homely cottage with plenty of room. Dogs loved it too. It has a paved enclosed yard and an enclosed garden they could play in. We also found a field up the road behind some houses where the dogs could run free. Recommend Yandles gift shop and tea room in Martock for a short day out and only a 30 min drive to Clakes Village retail outlet in SRead moretreet. Would be nice to have bin bags. The main bin just had a small plastic shopping bag in and filled before the 2nd day. Great holiday though Hide

Spacious cottage. Good value for money. Excellent base to explore the surrounding areas. Set within a courtyard area of a cul-de-sac. Main road close by so traffic noise can be heard but didn't bother us.
