Peacefully situated in the village of Cutcombe, in Exmoor National Park, this is the perfect location for those wishing to walk or cycle in this awe-inspiring landscape. The medieval village of Dunster (6 miles) with its National Trust castle towering above it is a must-see.

Enter this stylishly decorated single-storey annexe into a hallway which is a great place to hang clothes and store coats and boots. From here enter a light and airy open-plan studio space which enjoys countryside views. Find a comfortable seating area with a Smart TV, a dining area and French doors opening onto the terrace. The sleeping area has a king-size bed so you can sleep tight after a day out exploring. Head back into the hall and into a contemporary and well-equipped kitchen. A shower room completes this immaculate accommodation.

We found the cottage to be both charming and practical. Having a seperate well equiped kitchen was a bonus. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well organised so. e.g there was a place for waste and recycling. We particularly enjoyed having our meals outside surrounded by the pretty garden and beautiful countryside. Having a shop attached to the gRead morearage was very useful. Trevor and Jill were prefect host and there when we needed information. We very much hope to return again before too long. Hide

Lovely place to stay, very well equipped and well thought out. Thoughtful, friendly hosts, left us a welcome pack which was just what we needed on arrival. The piggery is situated on a beautiful little lane and the views from the terrace are gorgeous. Well placed for walking and seaside trips.

A lovely, well appointed, cosy and comfortable space to stay in. Beautiful views of Exmoor and located in a quiet hamlet with a shop and pub a short walk away in Wheddon Cross. Perfect location for walking and travelling to all the destinations you might want to visit. I loved it and would certainly book the Piggery again.
