The end cottage within a Grade-II listed terrace, this inviting property is the perfect base for a relaxing break spent touring. Wingfield is home to a village pub or for further amenities head 2.5 miles North to Bradford-on-Avon. Only 6.5 miles away is the city of Bath, known for its Abbey and Roman baths as well as striking Georgian architecture. Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely spot for a walk beside the canal or river, with routes leading to Avoncliff Aqueduct. Bikes and kayaks are also available for hire. You will be within easy reach of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Frome, National Trust villages of Lacock and Stourhead and Bruton, which are all within 17 miles. Stonehenge and Avebury also make a good day out.

A stone path leads through the cottage garden at the front of the property to the entrance door. Once inside, you are met with a charming lounge/diner complete with Smart TV, wood burner and space to enjoy leisurely meals. Just next door is the galley-style kitchen, which has a door leading to the bathroom at the rear of the property. From the kitchen, a set of winding cottage-style stairs rise to the first floor and the two pretty bedrooms. Decorated with care throughout, there are vintage pieces to be admired and all your comforts have been considered. To the rear of the property there is an enclosed garden with a patio, BBQ and furniture, perfect for settling down with your favourite book or enjoying the morning and evening sun.

To the front of the property is a cottage garden with bench. If you’re holidaying with your dog, there is a suitable walk nearby, which is ideal for the last and first walk of the day.
