Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely spot for a walk beside the canal or river, with routes leading to Avoncliff Aqueduct. Bikes and kayaks are also available for hire. You will be within easy reach of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Frome, National Trust villages of Lacock and Stourhead and Bruton, which are all within 17 miles. Stonehenge and Avebury also make a good day out.
