We had a lovely weeks stay in the cottage. It was cosy and warm and everything we needed for a relaxing week. We even managed to sit outside in the garden for a while on one sunny day as it was sheltered and a nice peaceful space. Shop and pubs in the village are good to have so nearby too.

The cottage was cosy, very well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather. There were plenty of places to visit and a walk down the hill along the river was interesting with a coffee at The Holy Cow. Great place for us to stay with our family.

Excellent well thought out and tastefully modernised cottage with quality equipment. The cottage was warm and cosy and had a wood burner for colder months. Parking outside was not a problem and the neighbours were friendly. We loved the Holy Cow near the church for coffee and brunch. Gem of a find, we have just returned from a wonderful week at this lovely cottage, Sally the host was most welcoming and the wine and cookies were a lovely touch. The cottage itself was well equipped and very comfortable. It is a good base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Thanks for a great stay :)

Very nice welcoming traditional stone cottage. Warm and comfortable , quiet location. Broadband on tap, no connectivity problems. Good kitchen - everything there that you need. Bathroom and shower over the bath is fine. The edge of the bath is a little high to get over if you're of riper years - perhaps bring a small step with you. Parking is on thRead moree road. Youi can park across the driveway in front of the garage, or elsewhere in the road.. We had no problems at all. Recommended. Hide

We had a lovely week but the cottage gets a mixed review. Pros: great location, well equipped, very clean, quiet. Cons: dark inside because unless you want passers-by looking straight in you have to keep the blinds drawn. There is a footpath which runs right next to the rear of the property. The parking space is really a space on the road next to aRead more garage. It is not private. The garden needed tidying. The lawn was over-grown and plants took away some of the light at front. Hide

Cottage cosy, and characterful. Only negative comment was that the outside seat and table a bit unstable, and fixtures require cup washers and tightening.
