Homely terraced cottage sleeping three, located close to Wells City Centre within walking distance of all the towns facilities and attractions, including the historic cathedral and a range of interesting shops and eateries.

This property is located in the cathedral city of Wells, England’s smallest city. The city is easily negotiable on foot and offers a great range of independent boutiques, pubs, delis, and restaurants, alongside the magnificent Gothic cathedral and adjoining Bishops Palace Gardens. Just outside the city, a ten-minute drive away, visitors will find Wookey Hole Caves, a complex of attractions not only including the caves themselves, but also a number of museums, a 4D cinema, a range of play facilities, and a Victorian penny arcade. A little further afield, a visit to the impressive Glastonbury Abbey is not to be missed, and keen shoppers will enjoy a day visiting the discount shopping village in Street, just eight miles away.

Two steps lead from the pavement up to the front door of this property, bringing guests to the cosy and homely lounge, where a window seat and a comfortable sofa offer plenty of space to relax in front of the TV/DVD and hi-fi, or perhaps curl up with a book in front of the pebble-effect electric fire. Guests pass the dining area on the way to the kitchen, where they will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a restful double room, whilst the second room is a peaceful single room. The bathroom can also be found on this floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property and accessed through the patio door in the kitchen, there is a small, yet attractive, courtyard garden which has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is off-road parking available for one car, whilst guests can also find roadside parking close to the cottage.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Well equipped and comfortable mews cottage with views of the Cathedral, which was about 5 minutes walk away. Agree that the foam mattress was a bit unforgiving - you can't beat a sprung mattress! We managed to tuck our Renault Captur in the parking spot. Wells is a beautiful city with lots of places to eat out.

This is a lovely cottage, small but perfectly adequate with all we needed. It's within walking distance of the Cathedral and town. There's lots to see, nice shops and plenty of places to eat. Unless you have a small car I would recommend either parking in the main street or reversing into the space outside the house. We really enjoyed our visit.

A cosy and comfortable cottage close to the centre of Wells, with a sunny aspect and a good window seat to enjoy the sun. Parking best for a small car, medium if you're good at parallel parking, but there's other parking available nearby so don't let that put you off.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well-equipped. It was in a very good location, only a short walk from the centre.

A delightful cottage in an ideal location with only a short walk to the city centre. I found it preferable to reverse the car into the street as turning was restricted.

Mews cottage is a cosy two-bedroom property near the centre of Wells. It was clean and well maintained and well equipped. Everything in the cottage was in good condition and functioned well. The bed was very comfortable, with a foam mattress on a solid base. The house felt cosy for two but might be a little crowded with three people staying. The peRead morerformance of the Wi-Fi was good, but it did hang occasionally. There is no front garden and the back yard is small and shut in. Hide

Excellent little cottage, only 10mins walk from the town centre. Parking for a small car only as stated . In fact we liked everything about the cottage except the beds mattress. We found this incredibly hard & we never slept well on it all week. Get the bed sorted & we would definitely return

Compact but cosy. Dining area was ok for 2 but would be a squash for 3, though lounge and bedrooms would be fine. Selection of 'goodies' left by the owners made us feel welcome on arrival. Our stay was over Christmas and the owners had kindly decorated the cottage.
