Very comfortable house in a lovely location. The house is ideally suited for us, on the edge of the village but only a short walk into the village centre, which has two lovely pubs. We especially liked The George. The area is beautiful, close to the Mendip hills and Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury and the coast, so lots of places to visit. Would higRead morehly recommend. Hide

Lovely cottage in great location for Somerset and Bristol. Garden recently been landscaped and great place to relax after exploring. Easy walk into village with access to shops, pubs and great curry house. Thank you!

Lovely spacious cottage. Pretty village location. The owner didnt bother us at all so that was nice. A welcome pint of milk would be been a bonus. A shame the owners car was parked close to the kitchen window the whole time we were there so we couldnt enjoy the beautiful view.

Really lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage in a peaceful location well positioned for visits to the coast, Bristol, Wells, Cheddar & Street to name but a few. Good choice of pubs nearby and well stocked village store just a few minutes walk away.

Myself, wife and 2 dogs had a 3 night stay. I contacted the owner Rosalind the day prior to travel and she was very friendly. She lives in the annex of the property but we never actually met her she simply let us get on with it which was nice. The property itself was spotless and very welcoming with some nice personal touches (milk and a bottle of Read morewine in the fridge; folded towels on the bed). It is a bit on the pricy side (nearly 600 for 3 nights in September), but a good locale for Wedmore. Hide
