Beautiful semi-detached cottage in rural location, within walking distance of the Somerset village of Nunney. Fully refurbished for great extended family escape or friends’ reunion in the country.

This lovingly renovated cottage has been finished in a tasteful, contemporary country-style to impress. It’s the perfect choice for a large family break or a reunion of friends. Located on the A361, may places can we reached with ease, such as the market town of Frome which boasts an impressive regular independent market and range of independent shops. The property is in short walking distance of a pub and a local shop, and day trips to all the major visitor attractions in Somerset can be accessed from the road network with ease. Take a trip to Nunney Castle, Wookey Hole, Cranmore Railway or Longleat Safari Park.

On arrival, you will first encounter the spacious lounge which has a comfortable array of seating. There is also a TV/DVD and a hi-fi for use; enjoy the open fire on cooler evenings – logs provided. Adjacent to the lounge is the kitchen and dining room, which is bound to become the hub of activity during your stay. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also on the ground-floor is a bedroom with a king-size bed and its en-suite wet room with shower and WC. From the lounge you can reach the first floor where the other three bedrooms can be found. Two of the bedrooms contain king-size beds and the remaining bedroom is a twin. The main bathroom is also on this level, and includes a bath, separate shower, and a WC. Stepping outside the cottage, there is an enclosed, gravel covered patio area, reached by descending two stone steps. The garden has a BBQ and outdoor furniture to relax on. There is off-road parking for three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Paddington Cottage was an absolute gem for a comfortable weekend away. Everything has been considered and you couldn't want for more......from cake on arrival, with tea bags and milk for that much needed cuppa......plenty of room for all 7 of us, the bad weather didn't dampen our spirits, with board games and DVDs we were occupied. My self and my family stayed at Paddington Cottage for the sole purpose of visiting Longleats Festival of Lights. The cottage is a convenient 15min drive from Longleat and there was plenty of parking for the three cars we came in. We really loved out stay at paddington cottage. It has everything there to just land and make yourselves at home.. everything is immaculate.. the kitchen is really well kitted out, as is everything else.. and a really warm welcome from the family. Look forward to staying again!

The cottage is so well equipped. If you think of an item you might need, it is there. Debbie and Martin could not do enough for us. Home made cake, wine, fresh milk and even ice cubes for our g&t were all provided in a welcome pack. We enjoyed it so much we are booking again for next year.

A very lovely property with a warm welcome...cake, wine, tea, coffee and milk in arrival! The kitchen was definitely the highlight, well equipped and spacious with a lovely large table and a stable door leading to the courtyard. Lounge was cozy with an open fire and all logs provided. Conveniently placed just off the main road; loads of interesting towns and attractions within an hours drive. The walk along the lane to Nunney takes about 15 minutes and the George sells good coffee! The kitchen is very well stocked and very spacious. We used it as our social hub. Good wifi throughout. Wow! Finished to a high standard and furnished with almost everything you would have at home. Absolutely loved the long dining table. Perfect location to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas and not too close but not too far away from supermarkets,etc. The welcome goodies were most welcome too :) The main downside sadly was that it is so Read moreclose to the main road.
